Northline’s Epitalon is labeled EPITALON 100 MG, and the product page names epitalon as the compound. Northline says the powder is 99%+ pure and describes it as studied for telomere biology, cellular longevity research, and pineal gland function in preclinical models. It also says the product is “intended solely for laboratory research,” so its page gives no dose, injection or duration guidance.

What is in each Northline Epitalon vial?
Northline’s Epitalon is labeled EPITALON 100 MG, and the product page names epitalon as the compound, supplied as a lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder. The vial label also reads “99%+ Purity” and “For Research Use Only.”
| Item | What Northline’s page says |
|---|---|
| Active ingredient | Epitalon (also spelled Epithalon), a tetrapeptide |
| Amount per vial | 100 mg, shown on the label as “EPITALON 100 MG” |
| Form | Lyophilized powder, appearing as a white lyophilate |
| Purity | 99%+ on the label; “≥99% (HPLC verified)” on the page; 99.41% on the certificate |
| Identity | Confirmed by mass spectrometry (MS) |
| Endotoxin | Listed as tested, with an endotoxin report linked on the page |
| Storage | Store at −20°C, away from direct light; stable for up to 12 months when stored properly |
| Lot | Certificate lot NLL-4662025; vial and catalog number NL-22378 |
The purity figures come from Northline’s own certificate. The product page says each batch is “independently assayed” by reverse-phase HPLC and confirmed for identity by mass spectrometry.
Check the lot number. The vial photo reads lot NL-22378, the same number the page uses as its catalog number. The certificate on the page is for lot NLL-4662025. When your vial arrives, compare its lot number with the certificate for that lot on Northline’s COA lookup page. If the numbers do not match, email hello@northlinelabs.org.
What type of peptide is Epitalon?
Northline calls Epitalon a tetrapeptide. Northline describes it as a “premium research peptide designed for laboratory and scientific studies.”
Does Epitalon work, and what does it do to the body?
Northline says Epitalon is “studied for telomere biology, cellular longevity research, and pineal gland function in preclinical models.” Its page describes it as suitable for “studies in cell culture and laboratory aging models.” That is the seller’s description of its research, and it points to lab and cell work rather than people.
The human research is the part to read closely. Healthline reports that in July 2026 the Pharmacy Compounding Advisory Committee reviewed Epitalon for insomnia, and that the panel approved six of the seven peptides it reviewed, except emideltide. The Johns Hopkins peptide explainer says the FDA staff on that committee thought there was not enough evidence of safety and efficacy for the peptides under review, while the panel largely voted in favor of putting them on the compounding permission list. The same piece notes that the committee’s membership has been heavily criticized for significant conflicts of interest.
Healthline also writes that researchers and medical professionals have not confirmed the purported benefits of the research peptides it covers. For more on the human studies behind peptides in general, see our peptides human studies (our research library) guide.
What are the side effects of Epitalon?
Healthline’s guide on whether peptides are legal says it is currently unknown what side effects these research peptides might have, in the short or long term, and that there are no large-scale human trials on their safety. Northline’s FAQ says its products are “intended strictly for in-vitro laboratory research and development,” and it answers “No” to whether they can be used in humans.
If you are weighing a peptide for your own health, a clinician is the right person to ask about your options and risks.
How do you use it, where do you inject it, and for how long?
The Epitalon product page does not show injection sites, doses, timing or how long to use it. It does give storage directions: keep the powder at −20°C, protected from light.
The page lists other peptides under “Pairs well at the bench,” but it gives no guidance on taking any of them with Epitalon.
Can I legally buy Epitalon?
PeptideJournal’s state-by-state guide, last updated February 2026, lists Epitalon among non-approved peptides sold as research chemicals. It says “Selling for research purposes is generally legal.” The same guide says “Research use only” labels do not provide legal protection when the product is clearly marketed for human consumption. It also notes that in some states the purchaser may face scrutiny too.
Healthline says the research peptides it covers have not been approved by the FDA for their touted uses. It also reports the July 2026 committee review, so the status may be changing. PeptideJournal advises checking the FDA’s bulk drug substances page and your state pharmacy board for the latest updates. Northline itself says Epitalon is “Not a drug, food, or supplement.” Johns Hopkins explains that dietary supplements do not require pre-market review for safety and effectiveness. For the supplement rules themselves, see the FDA’s dietary supplements page.
Northline’s terms say you must be at least 21, confirm you are “a qualified researcher or institution,” and use the products for in-vitro laboratory research. PeptideJournal says non-approved peptides “cannot be legally compounded,” so a prescription is not the route its guide describes for this peptide. What does Epitalon cost, and how do refunds work?
Prices as of October 28, 2026; check the checkout for today’s price. The 100 mg vial is shown at $79.19, next to $87.99. You can see today’s price at the Product Page.

Northline’s terms say it does not accept returns or issue refunds, and orders cannot be cancelled or changed once placed. The exception is its purity-match guarantee: if an independent lab tests a lot and its purity does not match the certificate issued for that lot, Northline will refund or replace it. That exception depends on a lab test of your lot, so keep the vial and its lot number. If you want to compare buyer questions on price and refunds from another research peptide seller, see our research labs peptides page.
Shipping protection covers packages the carrier loses, marks delivered but never receives, or delivers damaged. You file the claim with Northline, and approved claims are re-shipped from its stock or refunded to your original payment method. Claim windows run up to 30 days, depending on the problem. Without protection, Northline still fixes its own errors, such as a wrong or missing item, but carrier losses and damage are not covered.
Before you order
- Match the lot number on your vial to a certificate. The vial and catalog number show NL-22378; the certificate on the page is for NLL-4662025.
- Ask Northline whether the powder contains anything besides epitalon.
- Open the endotoxin report linked on the product page.
- Confirm you are 21 or older and agree to the research-only terms before you check out.
- Decide on shipping protection at checkout. It is on by default.
